Strategic Planning has become a needed process to move fire departments down a deliberate, thoughtful path. Without a plan for their organization, chief officers may find themselves reacting to constantly changing circumstances, as opposed to being well-prepared for the future. This session will provide chief officers an understanding of the importance of developing and implementing a strategic plan, as well as an understanding of practical application.
