The role of the Fire EMS service is changing, as the healthcare system changes post-pandemic, and our service communities change their priorities and needs. The public safety system has expanded roles in maintaining services that the population values. There have been highly-valued Community Paramedicine programs established in many departments. There are evolving roles of these programs, with many communities funding a wider array of timely programs. This session will report on developments in Fire agencies that are filling service gaps in the community unscheduled health care system.
