Rob Frampton is the current Fire Chief for the Salisbury Fire Department, established in 1872 and located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Chief Frampton's fire service career began as a volunteer in Salisbury in 1999 and he was hired in 2002 as a Firefighter/Paramedic. Rob spent 20-plus years working his way up through the ranks to become the current Fire Chief in 2023. Rob has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Salisbury University, a Master's Degree in Emergency Health Services from the University of Maryland-Baltimore County, is a graduate of the National Fire Academy's Executive Fire Officer Program and completed the Leadership Maryland program. Rob is also a published author, is credentialed as a Chief Fire Officer by the Center for Public Safety Excellence, has been a licensed Paramedic for over 20 years, and currently serves as the Treasurer for the IAFC's Company Officer Section.
