EDDIE AVILA, FIRE CHIEF, SHELL CHEMICALS US

Eddie has been an Industrial Firefighter for over 34 years. The last 16 years Eddie has served as Fire Chief for Shell Oil Company in Houston and Shell Chemicals in Deer Park Texas. With an extensive background in teaching, enhanced by being a Fulltime TEEX Fire Instructor in the 2000’s, Eddie has taught all over the United States, Mexico, Canada, India and Qatar and has presented at conferences in Mexico City, Sarnia Canada, Bangalore India and across the USA. Eddie also has over 27 years of municipal service with the last 7 years teaching at the local fire academy in Houston, Texas. Eddie currently serves as the Emergency Response Specialist and Security Coordinator for Shell Deer Park.
