Robby Bergerson is a 31-year fire service veteran serving as the Executive Deputy Chief of the Waco (TX) Fire Department. Chief Bergerson is a graduate of the NFA’s Executive Fire Officer (EFO), the IAFC’s Fire Service Executive Development Institute (FSEDI, and the Texas Fire Chiefs Academy programs. He is also a Chief Fire Officer (CFO) through CPSE and holds a Master’s in Public Administration, a Bachelor’s in Organizational Leadership, and an Associate’s in Fire Services Administration. Chief Bergerson has been an adjunct professor at Austin Community College for 14 years and is also an instructor with Firefighter Inspiration Readiness and Education.
