Jason Czora has over 36 years of fire service experience, spanning both the volunteer and career side. Most recently, Jason was hired as the Deputy Chief in charge of Operations and Training for the Hartford, Vt. Fire Department. His fire service career began as a volunteer with the Snyder, NY Fire Department, and then was hired by the Buffalo, NY Fire Department in 1996. Chief Czora retired from Buffalo as a Captain in 2019 after serving 23 years, working his entire career on the city's East Side. Chief Czora has recieved multiple awards during his career, including the departments higher honor the Buffalo Fire Department Memorial Award for Bravery Gold Medal in 2013.
Chief Czora brings his years of working "the ghetto" into his instruction style, usingactuaal events and lessons learned to his classes. Using real world experience and language in the classroom, he keeps the participants engaged and maybe even entertained. Chief Czora has his AAS in Fire Science from Erie Community College in Western New York, and is a retired member of the IAFF Local 282.
